Yes, Tevye, oh yes. The Good Book does speak of the chicken. Specifically, a mother hen. Matthew 23:37 talks about how Christ would have "gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings". The people did not come to be gathered to safety. Much to their detriment. God never forces us to do anything, and never asks us to do something that is bad for us. ^^if you haven't seen Fidler on the Roof, you should. Okay, letsago! This week was wild! But we probably won't get into it too much haha. I gave myself a haircut! Pictures to follow. My companion and I got to play some music today. It was fun! 1️⃣ We had two exchanges this week. I was excited, and they were good, but also very tiring. I learned a lot from the people I spent time with. They're some great people. 2️⃣ Spanish has been going well! I did okay teaching a lesson solo, but then the man was no longer interested which was sad. I'm becoming able to really understand which has been amazing! God has definitely been helping me out. We murdered an organ 😭😫 3️⃣ It was a beautiful pump organ, at least 100 years old. The pedals didn't blow or suck. family in the ward had tried giving it away, finding someone who wanted it, giving it to a museum. To no avail. So we had to dismantle it so it would fit in the back of a truck and get shipped to the dump. I imagine so many people are mad at me right now as they're reading this. I might be too. But I digress. Some scriptures from Malachi: Malachi 1: 5-6 Malachi 2:7 Malachi 3:1 I'll admit, these scriptures are a bit random without context. But I include them anyway. Perhaps because they are a testament that we need the Holy Ghost to be able to understand and learn. John 14:26 is now one of my favorite scriptures. The Lord helps us learn the things He needs us to for our growth. As we rely on Him, we really can find strength and learn all things!!! Thank you for being loving people. Remember to love, and you will always abound in Joy. I promise this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. -me
